Links, links, links!
This is a list of all third party- or should that be fourth party?- creations based on my own work here in these gloriously gothic pages. If you have a page of things you'd like to include here, email me using the address given on my index page. Listed in alphabetical order.
NameAuthorDescription
C2 Multicoloured Pixie NornsSusan BThis site, as the title suggests, has a whole rainbow of C2 pixie norns (they're the ones with the white hair, and the evil smile), including lots of coloured Canny norns. I was amazed at how many colours there were here!
Bonadrey NorneryMartha BrummetA site for cob fans, this has the famous underwater red seaweed for water norns, and the yoghurt onna stick for Terra Nornia. If you're wondering why the yoghurt is green, read "Small Gods". by Terry Pratchett.
Close Encounters of the Creatures KindAndrew Carroll (Jcarrcwalk)Andrew is a budding biologist, and does some seriously scientific fiddling about with norn's genomes! On his pages, you can find the Calvin norns, which have a canny norn genome base, and a complete calvin cycle, and the Calvin Phosphate norns, which also have an altered phosphate pathway. I don't know the details, I'm afraid. You can also find sickle cell norns, whose children may be immune to disease, or suffer from sick cell anaemia, just like the gene in humans!
Creatures Developer's ResourceChris DoubleCo-creator of the Canny norns, Chris is the undisputed god of neural networks and norn behaviour! His site has the Canny norn pack mirrored on it, and also a lot of information about the brains of norns.
The City of the Lost SheeDylanA nicely designed and laid out webpage, with some really freakily (is there such a word as freakily?) coloured canny norns. The art section is definitely worth a look! Oh, and great taste in music!
Brf's Creatures PagesBrad FermanichAlong with some highly weird animated gifs, this site has some great cobs for Terra Nornia, such as a map that can teleport your norns anywhere in the world! Great for norns with bleeding noses who bump into doors a lot!
Frimlin's Kiwi CreaturesFrimlinFrimlin won the golden shee award recently for most popular Creatures site! On his rapidly colour changing site, you can find many coloured norns based on my genomes, plus some made from Frimlin's own altered genome (well, not his personal genome), the f001.
Jimbo's Creatures PageJimbo (never!)Imaginative name there, Jimbo! This site, as well as many other things, has cobs useful for looking after mernorns- flood the volcano, make an underwater incubator, and a sea teleporter to name but a few. I visit it just to listen to the music, though...
Nornia TechnicaWillemm LagermanThis site has Canny norns for C1, very useful for those poor souls who don't have C2. As Willem puts it, Met een vriendelijke groet, or friendly greetings!
Slink's BurrowSandra LinkletterCo-creator of Terra Nornia, Sandra did all the difficult programming and cobbling for the worlds. On her pages you could find advice on making new worlds, and a few replacement cobs. She took down the page at the end of 1998, but I'll keep this link up, since I think she deserves credit for her work for the creatures community. Anyway, there's some good limericks on it!
NORNmaniaNORNGodI think I suffer from nornmania...NORNGod (he goes mad if you don't write it case sensitively) has created many coloured Canny norns, and a few ettins and grendels.
StarliteRegina ParkerAnother page dedicated to those popular creations, the Canny norns. Many diferent colours available here, and the page has a nice easy to read layout, if your sight isn't too good. Mind you, if it isn't, could you read this? (g)
24th Century CreaturesMark ReedQuite a new page at the time I'm writing this, but it looks like it'll be worth a good surf when finished! My main reason for including it here is that it has a mirror of my C3 cobs. Thanks, Mark!
Paul's Creatures Gaming PageRicardo2000A very interesting page, full of lots of goodies. There are a mix of hand-bred norns available on the adoptions pages, but lots of other groovy things as well, such as screensavers and trivia. It's well worth a visit just for a browse.
Kinnison's Creatures PagesDaniel SilverstoneDaniel, a generally amazing programming person, has created all sorts of interesting things, and even worked for Cyberlife! You can find a Terra Nornia installer on these pages, plus a program I used to make the mernorn breed setup file. There's also CreEd32, which I used to make the Terra Nornia background, and the Hippy norns.
Adventures in NornsittingWafuruA very arty person, Wafuru does things with Paint shop pro that are totally amazing, such as the sprites for the mernorns! You'll find the mernorns also available for download from her site, plus some useful cobs. There's a nice table of mernorn life stages, too.
The Albia of Dr WashuLittle WashuLittle Washu has taken a particular interest in ettins and grendels. Visit her page to get the V2 genome, a genome which sorts out a number of bugs in the original genomes for them both. The genomes are based on the breedable ettins and grendels from my site. Look out for her Green Swamp Ettins!
