| Close Encounters of the Creatures Kind | Andrew Carroll (Jcarrcwalk) | Andrew is a budding biologist, and does some seriously scientific fiddling about with norn's genomes! On his pages, you can find the Calvin norns, which have a canny norn genome base, and a complete calvin cycle, and the Calvin Phosphate norns, which also have an altered phosphate pathway. I don't know the details, I'm afraid.
You can also find sickle cell norns, whose children may be immune to disease, or suffer from sick cell anaemia, just like the gene in humans! |
