Der Hut (Harry Potter läßt grüßen!) sortiert alle Wesen in Reichweite nach Spezies (Norn, Ettin, Grendel, Geat) und teleportiert sie an die jeweils korrespondierenden Orte im Norn-, Ettin- oder Dschungelterrarium bzw. im Maschinenraum. Idealerweise setzt man Sort Hat in Verbindung mit Creature Radar ein.

".... Sort Hat identifies all creatures that it can see and transports them to a corresponding flag that represents that type of creature. For example, if the Sort Hat is activated near a group of Norns, Ettins, Grendels, and Geats, it will place the Norns next to the GryffinNorn flag in the Norn Terrarium, the Grendels warp next to the SlytherGren flag in the Jungle, the Ettins appear next to the RavenEtt flag in the Desert, and the Geats warp over to the HuffleGeat flag in Engineering.
