Medical Monitor fügt ein weiteres Menü am linken Rand des Spielfensters hinzu. Angezeigt werden hier eventuelle durch Bakterien oder Toxine verursachte Erkrankungen. Zu diesem Zweck werden alle Norns in Intervallen von 5 Sekunden überprüft. Bei positivem Befund ertönt ein Alarmton und das Icon am Rand des Monitors wird rot. Mit Hilfe des roten Lampensymbols auf dem Monitor selbst kann Medical Monitor ein- und ausgeschaltet werden.
